Uh-Oh Joe: Leak Shows Dems Are Quietly Making ‘Contingency Plans’

Joe is in big trouble, the Democrats are already planning on throwing him under the bus.

Originally, the Democrats were waiting until after the midterms to decide how to prepare for 2024. But as the polls show Republicans pulling ahead of Democrats in traditionally blue states, they are already scheming.

From The Hill:

Democrats behind the scenes are already talking about and making contingency plans for 2024 in case President Biden decides not to seek a second term, moves expected to intensify immediately after Election Day. …

At age 79, Biden has called himself “a bridge” between generations of Democratic politicians. Top leaders like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), 82, and Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), 71, are in his age range, and administration officials often swat off questions about whether he’ll run again, with public and private statements indicating his intent.

But taken in tandem with the uncertainty of the midterms, the age factor leaves the door open for Democrats to start laying some groundwork, and several have already shown signs that make their aspirations fodder for speculation.

Below is a great example of why Democrats are making “contingency plans.”

One of the biggest problems the Democrats isn’t just Joe Biden, it’s the age of their party leaders. The next best candidate for them is Bernie Sanders, who would be 83 years old, followed by Hillary Clinton, who is 74. Other than former President Trump, the GOP has a deep younger bench. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is 44, Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin is 55, former Vice President Mike Pence is 63, and Senator Ted Cruz is 51.

Unlike the GOP, there is a massive generational gap between the DNC and its voters. Not to mention the fact that the leader of the Democrat Party is about to go down in history as one of the worst presidents of the modern era.
