Believe it or not you may agree with Rep. RAshida Talib.
She wants to know where in the heck Mayor Pete is amid the most significant industrial accident in the last twenty years.
In the video below, you’ll note that Mayor Pete is in charge of the organization that was supposed to be enforcing these new regulations preventing this type of accident.
The rail industry continues to put profits over the health of their workers & our residents. This train derailment has burned off hazardous chemicals & fumes linked to cancer that are toxic to this community & our environment. @SecretaryPete must ensure this never happens again. https://t.co/ZqlAKfrXiD

What is Pete doing?
Cracking jokes.
Pete Buttigieg jokes about his failures on the job: “We’ve faced issues from container shipping to airline cancellations. Now we got balloons. *laughs*” pic.twitter.com/KeHzRjXBtC

Meanwhile below is what people on the ground are dealing with. The video is reportedly east of where the burn took place and those aren’t storm clouds.
Warning explicit launguage.

East Palestine, Ohio is undergoing an ecological disaster bc authorities blew up the train derailment cars carrying hazardous chemicals and press are being arrested for trying to tell the story.
Oh but UFO’s!
What is going on?

What a total disaster.
Pete Buttigieg talked about trains today but not about the derailment in Ohio. Instead he talked about how too many train workers are white.

At least the EPA is releasing some information.

What’s concerning is that four hours east of the train delrailment is Lancast County Pennsylvania that has some of the most fertile soil east of the Mississpi. Has anyone looked into what happens when those gas clouds blow over there and it rains?
